At this location, algae had just really started to take over at the bottom part of the shingles where they meet the gutter line. These stains were beginning to feed on the shingles, and they were a huge eyesore to the homeowners.

The homeowners found us on the internet and requested a free estimate. We came out and discussed what concerns they had, and showed them our portfolio of Roof Cleanings in the St. Louis area we have done. They decided to book their roof cleaning appointment right then.

Our company came out a few days later and performed the roof cleaning. We always start by watering down all landscaping very good. Then a roof cleaning technician gets on the roof and begins applying our roof cleaning detergent. We coat the roof with this cleaner, then we go back and apply a no pressure rinse to the roof. We use the pressure of a garden hose to safely and effectively remove the algae from the shingles without harming the shingles.

During the rinse phase, the dead algae is washed away from the shingles, giving the shingles their like new appearance once again.
